DelGrosso's '09

I've been trying to get this post up for several days. I've had internet connectivity issues AGAIN. I was only able to upload a few pictures at a time before I'd lose my connection. Sometimes I'd only be offline a couple hours, other times it was a day or two. Anyone out there contemplating switching to Verizon DSL......DON'T DO IT. It's not worth the hassle. Sure, when it works, it works well. But it doesn't work often enough to be worth it. Not to mention their tech support and customer service leave MUCH to be desired.

So, thanks to Verizon, I am several posts behind where I'd like to be. I'll post them as I can.

Last Saturday we went to DelGrosso's. This was the first time we've ever gone on a weekend, and boy! It was packed! We dodged a couple down pours....luckily we were still in the water park area, so we were wet anyway!

You'll notice a lack of pictures of Drew on the water side of the park. he was never in one place long enough to get a picture of him!

Gabe loved that wheel!

Caroline didn't venture too far from the steps. Stick in the mud!

Again, with the wheel.

Rob and the boys went down the big slide. Caroline and I missed them coming down, because it started to rain and we had to make a mad dash back to the pool area to get all our stuff under cover!

Going down the other slide....after the rain. That's Drew at the bottom.

Caroline on the carousel.

Gabe loves these whales. Next year he'll be too tall.

Again with the carousel.

The bumper cars are always a favorite.

These swings made me so nervous. The lady in front of Drew kept knocking into the people in front of her, as well as Drew behind her. It was making him a bit nervous too. Gabe loved it. Rob was relieved they decided not to go on it again.

The big carousel. Caroline would not ride on the horses. *sigh*

Quite honestly, these were the biggest (single scoop) ice cream cones we'd ever seen.

My goofy kids on the train.

We kept bumping into Caroline's friend Sloane and her family. We know Sloane from ballet. We'd ride a few rides together, go our own way and bump into them again. Here are the girls and Gabe on the boats.

The grand finale. The race cars. Gabe is not old enough/tall enough to drive on his own, so he got to ride with Rob. This was serious business....SERIOUS BUSINESS.....for Drew. You can tell by his expression that this was WORK, not PLAY. He was Not.Happy. when Rob and Gabe passed him. He's actually very good at driving these things, he can pass and maneuver quite well. We were impressed.
