 Yeah, I know.  It's been a while.  

Here's a big update for ya.

 Regina and I discovered Duck Dynasty.  We are both big fans.  She prefers Willie while Jase is more my speed.

 

 Sometimes her brothers will join her.

 On March 30th, we enjoyed the Pirates vs. Curve exhibition game.  The weather was perfect, and all the kids had a really good time.

 Gabe had been looking forward to this game for months.   Don't let this nonchalant look fool you; he was excited.

 Regina really enjoyed all the clapping and dancing.  Especially the clapping.

 Clapping is contagious!

The next day was Easter.  We were all very tired, especially Daddy.  The kids (fueled by Caroline) were up very early. Notice how dark it was out that window, and this was AFTER the time change.

 Gabe got the VeggieTales video he wanted.  Everything after that was anti-climactic.  

 Caroline got Wreck-It Ralph.  She was also thrilled.  no picture of Drew.  he was too busy being a moody pre-teen.

 Regina loved finding her orange and yellow eggs.

 When one popped open revealing M&M's inside, she stopped in her tracks and feasted.

 "Here Dad, fill up my duckie cup!"

 

 Her set of veggieTales books was also a big hit.   Anything with a handle for carrying is a hit with this kid.

 This is what the day after Easter looked like.  It was a snow day.  We were not amused.

 Drew is playing baseball.  Well, he plays when the coach lets him off the bench.  Yes, Mom is disgruntled and actively biting her tongue.

 

 Regina enjoys modelling her cousin's clothes.  Thanks MaeMae!

 After Lent was over we were free to enjoy french fries again.  Regina LOVES french fries.

 She also enjoys her swing.  The kids usually find her swinging and waiting for the school vans every afternoon.

 

She does not, under any circumstances, like coming in from outside.

 Going out to breakfast and shopping with Momma and Miss Joy wears a girl out!

 We visited our favorite local playground, and swung some more.

 She likes to 'drive' the fire engine.  The knot on her forehead was thanks to a spill down the front steps.  Momma about had a heart attack.

 Coloring is also a lot of fun these days.  Thank God for vinyl tablecloths and washable markers!

Someone has discovered the climbing toy in the backyard.  At 22 months, she's doing more on that toy than Caroline did when she was three.  Caroline was cautious to a fault.  Regina?  Not so much.

 And again, we cry when it's time to come in.  We are so obviously closing in on our second birthday!

Caroline participated in Odyssey of the Mind.  In February they placed second at the regional competition.  They qualified for the state competition in the Poconos.  She and Rob went, and her team finished fourth in their division.  Not to shabby for a team that really only met for a few months.  She had a great time, and can't wait for next year.

 After much persuasion from those of us at home, and some support and bribery from those at school, Gabe finally allowed me to cut his hair.  He was worried.

 It was VERY long.

 He seemed happy with it.  The rest of us are happy too.  This kid's hair  has some major curl.

Drew had his final Sports and Music Night.  As a sixth grader, he enjoyed getting a trophy this year for his participation in band.

So that catches y'all up.  I know this has been very Regina-heavy.  She's the kid who's home with me all day.  And she doesn't tattle (yet), she isn't sassy (yet), she's not Wii-obsessed (yet), and she's not a pre-teen punk (yet).
