Domestic Princess

On Saturday, Caroline and I decided to make mini-muffins for Gabe's religious ed class. She was very excited to help, and looked so darn cute in her dress and apron, with her hair still pulled back in the 'ballet bun.'

First we mixed the batter.

She was quite the little helper all day. She helped sort the laundry, fold the laundry and load the washer and dryer. It was cute watching her help strip the beds so we could wash the sheets. She was so serious as she removed the blankets and pillows and tugged off those sheets.

She loves to help, when it's her idea, or something fun like baking. It's a totally different story when I ask for her help or, God forbid, demand it.
