Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun this year. My parents (Gramps and Grammie) came in on Wednesday evening. My brother Joe, his wife Katie and their two kids (Will and Lizzie) came in on Thursday afternoon. Lizzie, at four months old, was clearly the star of the show.

Sadly, Will did not care to have his picture taken, and seeing as I had already upset him by trying to get him to talk, and by (twice) not being the person he expected those legs to belong to......I wasn't going to traumatize him further by sticking a camera in his face.

After Thanksgiving dinner we went to Lakemont Park to see the Lights on the Lake. The kids really enjoy this every year. Afterward, we joined Joe and Katie (and kids) at the hotel to swim. The kids all really LOVED that. Unfortunately, none of my pics turned out.

On Friday, Rob, Gramps and Drew went ice skating in the morning, which thrilled Drew beyond words. That evening, all the boys went to the hockey game in Johnstown. Caroline, Grammie and I went to the mall for some shopping. Grammie bought Caroline some headbands and a necklace from Claire's. Caroline was excited and so grateful.

It was a good weekend, and went by so quickly. We are looking forward to December when we go to Michigan to see everyone again.

First she sat with Caroline, and chewed her fist.

Then she flirted with Gramps.

She spent a little time with Drew.

And even hung out with former binky baby, Gabe.

And she flirted with Gramps.

She laughed at Gramps.

She chewed on her fist......with Gramps.

Finally, she giggled with Gramps.

She obviously liked Gramps.
