New Year's Eve was met with three Egan children who were bound and determined to make it to midnight to see The Ball drop.
They gorged on snacks. They played games, They got to drink soda. (Well, Regina snacked, but that was about it.) They were having a party!
Only one made it to midnight. Any guess who it was?
This one was out by 7:30 p.m.. (Side note: she woke up like clockwork at 12:02 a.m. thanks to the idiots who like to set off fireworks on NYE.)
This one lasted until 11:22 p.m. I tried and tried to wake her at midnight. She was OUT.
Gabe fought it and fought it. He made it until 11:43. We were able to rouse him to see the ball drop.
This joker was on such a sugar/caffeine high, that he bounced off the walls until about 11:55 p.m. Once he sat down, he started to fade a bit, but managed to make it the whole way.
They all slept in a bit the next morning, but not as much as Rob and I had hoped.
Happy New Year from the Egans!
