She Likes The Snow

To further prove there are more of her father's genes in her than mine, Regina LOVES the snow.

*sigh*

How many ways can my genes be trounced upon?  Bald babies.  Cankles.  Butt chins.  Knock knees.  They all trumped my hairy, skinny ankled, smooth chinned, straight knee genes.  Now my snow-hating gene is over-ruled by Rob's snow-loving gene.  Honestly, I am just an incubator for little Egan clones.

*rant over.*

We bundled her up and away she went.  Yes that is a path through the front yard.  We can safely get the mail and the kids can board their school vans SAFELY.  In other words:  NO DRIVEWAY.  That driveway is a treacherous place in the winter.

She loved it.  She giggled and shrieked with joy.  It was difficult to get a picture of her from the safety of the porch.  She moved so quickly.  She smiled the entire time.  She didn't mind getting a face full of snow the several times she fell.  She didn't mind how it felt when she tore off her mittens.

As I said, the pictures aren't great.  But they give you a good idea of how happy she was out in the snow.

*shudder*

It is a shame we didn't get Anna and Regina together! They seem to have very similar personalities, and I know they would have a blast. Maybe we can do a midway playdate sometime soon!
It turns out Anna is a snow lover, too, while Lizzie complains when we just step outside into cold weather!
Hope you had a nice Christmas!
