Mardi Gras

It's not the best picture. The green floor casts a very weird light on pictures. Add a little girl who would not stand still to the mix.....and this was the best of the bunch.

We went to the Mardi Gras party that is held at our parish every year. Once again, we all had a great time and ate very, very well.

Caroline seemed to enjoy all the beaded necklaces. She came home with about a dozen. She had a flower painted on her hand to match the flower on her sweater. (Oh my, the screaming...SCREAMING....that took place the next morning when said flower was gone.) The boys had a ball running around with a bunch of other kids. They were in a big pack and were just beating each other senseless with their balloons. It was quite funny.

It was a great time and we all came home with full, happy tummies and ready for bed!
