Green Eggs and Ham.

The past couple weeks the boys have been celebrating Dr. Suess's birthday at school. They've come home with their own (paper) red and white striped hats. Several different Dr. Suess books have been read both at school and at home. We've even rented the old Cat in the Hat cartoon. They've really enjoyed it. Drew can even recite almost all of Green Eggs and Ham.


Last night I made green eggs and Ham for dinner. Their reactions were priceless.


Drew was the most excited.

Gabe was more excited about the bacon than the green eggs.

Caroline was completely and utterly unimpressed. She had absolutely no intention of eating any of it.

She opted for a safer choice: her thumb.

So, mixed reviews. At least the boys tried them. Caroline and Rob (ROB!) wouldn't even touch them. But hey! it was fun and made for some great photos!
