Hair that covers her ears.

Caroline has already started bemoaning her curly hair. Her two best buds at school have long, straight hair. Hair that covers their ears. Caroline has been begging me all week make her hair cover her ears. Today I had the time to straighten it.

She looks so different. Older, I think.

This morning she was thrilled with it. After two of the little boys in her class told her that her hair looked weird, she demanded her curls back. We'll see what she wants tomorrow. Will the desire to look like her friends over-rule the boys' comments?
