Gabe's First Communion

Gabe made his much anticipated First Communion on May 15th. He had been waiting for months, and was so excited when the day finally arrived. He was more than ready, and handled everything so well. Sometimes changes in the mass will upset him, but he really rose to the occasion and did a fabulous job.

Grammie made the trip from Michigan, which was an added bonus. Gramps and the rest of the family were missed, but it meant more hugs and love for Grammie, who didn't seem to mind the undivided attention.

The banner Grammie made.

The squishy face even makes an appearance at church. Can this kid rock a bow tie or what?

Gabe and the banner.

The whole family processing in with all the other First Communicants and their families.

Rob did the second reading.

In line, anticipating his turn.

Receiving his First Holy Communion.

Contemplative.

The whole group. I love how he's easy to spot with the curly hair and bow tie.

Gabe with Monsignor Mazur.

All three with Monsignor.

A rare family pic....everyone looks relatively normal.
