Happy Birthday Drew

Yesterday my baby boy turned nine. NINE. He was so sweet. It's our tradition to do gifts/party/cake AFTER dinner, so he had to wait all day. He handled it well. Seeing as we had a birthday party at the ballpark for both the boys in June, this was a quiet family affair.

His final gift from Gramps and Grammie. He got a couple things at his party in June as well as a brand new mattress. This gift was a package of Jimmie Johnson (removable) stickers for his room. Very cool.

A VERY cool vinyl banner from Lala.

A marble game from Uncle Joe and Aunt Katie (and kids.)

A Nintendo DS from Dad, Mom, Gabe and Caroline. Complete with accessories and a racing game. This was a huge hit.

A card and check from Gramma. We will be going to the bank today to show him how to turn that check into "real money."

Blowing out the candles on his very ugly and lopsided cake. It did taste good. But it was not pretty. Luckily he didn't seem to care.
