Hot Fun in the Summertime

Summer vacation is quickly approaching. This coming Thursday is the last day of school! Bring on the torture fun!

Because of rising gas prices, running the roads to keep me sane the kids occupied this summer, is not an option. We decided we should get some kind of pool. We have to be careful, as the backyard is not completely fenced in, and many of the pools would likely result in us being ticketed if the codes and inspection dudes happened to notice.

Another issue is our blatant lack of level ground anywhere in our yard. We were getting somewhat discouraged when we happened to notice the most perfect solution to our problem. We got a KILLER deal, and the kids are thrilled beyond words.

Behold, the Banzai Falls Criss-Cross.





It has a water slide, a climbing wall, a slip-n-slide and a wading pool. All three of the kids were happily entertained for much of the afternoon. It inflates in two minutes, and was relatively easy to assemble. I foresee many a day spent in the backyard. I'm going to have to stock up on the sunscreen!
