She Did It!!!

Out of sheer frustration and a good bit of exhaustion, I told Caroline that if she slept in her bed ALL NIGHT for ten nights in a row she would get a new toy. So we made a chart. For every morning she woke up in her bed, she got a sticker on the chart. Her goal: a pink CareBear.

She was very serious about this mission. She would have gotten her tenth consecutive star last Monday if it weren't for a disagreement with her father over a serving of peas that cost her three stickers and set her back three nights. Thursday morning was the magic morning, and after school she and I went to Target and bought that pink CareBear. It hasn't left her sight since.

We're upping the ante for a green CareBear.....she needs twenty consecutive nights in her bed. She's got two down....eighteen to go. Good thing these bears are relatively cheap! When this girl is motivated, she's darn near unstoppable!
