Maura, her younger brother and their mom spent a few hours with us this afternoon. Once again the water slide was a huge hit. All five kids played very well together, and the moms were able to visit without too much interruption.
Unfortunately, this is the only picture I was able to get. Drew was helping Maura apply her sunscreen. They are so cute together. Maura tends to be more quiet and reserved and Drew brings her out of her shell a bit. She has the uncanny ability to calm Drew down. They are good friends, and were sad when the visit came to an end. We'll be getting together again.
Sadly, Drew and Maura will not be in the same second grade class next year. Neither of them took that news very well.
