Our first stop was the Y playground in Hollidaysburg. We did this for Gabe who loves to watch the cars drive by on Rt. 36. Afterwards we had a picnic at Legion Park. As a surprise for everyone, we stopped at Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat.
We spent a couple hours at home enjoying the air conditioning. It was literally too hot to be outside for too long. The boys played computer and Caroline napped. That evening we headed back out to a small fair in Duncansville. We thought there were going to be pony rides, but alas, no ponies to be found. There were plenty of games to play, animals to watch and other fun stuff.
After the fair, we went to a pizza joint in Hollidaysburg that we used to frequent quite a bit when we lived out that way. The three of them inhaled two to three pieces each and they slurped down the lemonade and chocolate milk in a hurry. It was a VERY hot day.
The boys really enjoyed this rope bridge that the boy scouts had available. I'm willing to bet they each did this about a half a dozen times. They got really good at it, which is commendable seeing as they were both wearing their crocs.

Caroline was all about the petting zoo. However she would not go inside the fence. She wanted to watch Wilbur (the pig), but from a very safe distance. When these two miniature goats poked their heads through the fence, she about jumped out of her skin. It was hilarious.
Watching Wilbur. Notice her new hairstyle of choice. She's worn her hair like Lala for the past three days.
It was a fun day. Everyone (Rob) was satisfied by day's end. I think everyone was happy to stay home today.
