Lakemont Park

Today I was feeling brave and took the kids to Lakemont Park. It was tough to do on my own. The water area was easiest, as it is quite small and it was a cinch to keep track of all three....especially when Caroline flat-out refused to go in the water. *rolleyes* In her defense, the water was very cold.

The ride side of the park proved to be more difficult. Drew is too tall for the kiddie rides, and Caroline is too short for the big rides. Luckily, Gabe met the minimum height this year, and was able to go on the rides with Drew.

It was a fun day. We were there about five hours. We're all pretty tired. I think there will be some good sleeping tonight!!!

Gus on one of the small slides.

Drew...too bad they didn't have fun.
Miss Stick-In-The-Mud.
Under the water mushroom. Dude.
Boys going down the slide together.
The boys getting ready to ride Leap the Dips, the world's oldest roller coaster.
They had a ball! Luckily the ride was worth the thirty minute wait in line!
Caroline amused herself on the mirrored scale.
Look who decided to ride the carousel!!! It was totally her idea to "ride the pony!"
Pony riders.
Boat riders. They love this ride because of the bells.
Look who wanted to ride the ferris wheel!
Look who had to ride with her.

The boys giving me a heart attack.Proof I was on the ferris wheel.
