She danced.
Caroline's recital was this past weekend. She had a fabulous time and had a wonderful experience. The reheasal schedule was somewhat grueling (in my opinion) for four and five year old children, but she was a trooper and handled it well. They did not allow us to sit in the theatre during rehearsal (I was a backstage/dressing room mom) and pictures were not allowed in the stage area at any time. However we were able to take as many pictures as we wanted to in the dressing rooms. So obviously, this is why there are no photos of her actually on stage. There were on four girls in her group. They were super cute and very well behaved. We kept them busy with books, coloring books, crafts, puzzles and snacks. There was a lot of giggling, and they were all so thrilled to wear their costumes and especially the make up. All four of those girls were absolutely giddy to wear make-up.My mom has pictures of Caroline with Rob and her bouquet on her camera. I'll be sure to snag them when she is back in town. The following pictures are from both the dress rehearsal and the performance night.
This is Caroline's new camera face. I'm not a fan.
The four girls together. So cute, and so many different personalities.
Again with the camera face. I hope she outgrows that very soon.
This one cracks me up.
Getting ready for their call to go upstairs!
They talked nonstop!
Practicing her curtsy.
After the performance, snacking on some goldfish crackers. Let me tell ya, these four little girls ate A LOT of goldfish.
Caitlyn's mom (who was the other backstage mom) taught them a little riddle about a bee. Caitlyn was teaching the other girls. They giggled like crazy.
This is one of my favorite pictures. I can still hear all their giggling and laughter.
Posing. Sophia and her mom got each of the girls a small boquet of roses.
Take two.
Oh, someone's got some attitude. So glad it wasn't the someone who belongs to me.
Hanging out with some level 4 girls. This was one of the highlights of their evening.
There's a whole lotta pink princesses on those chairs. Those two level 4 girls were so patient and kind to our girls. It was very sweet.
